Prue Bray: "My Contract with the people of Wokingham Constituency"

This contract lays out exactly what you can expect from me as MP for Wokingham constituency.
I will put local people first.
I will be there to help, to listen to your concerns and to stand up for our community.
I will make sure your voice is heard - locally and at Westminster. I will be a strong voice for Wokingham.
I will be open and honest about all expenses incurred in representing you.
I believe representing you is a full-time job, and I will not take up any paid advisory roles or directorships.
I will continue to live in the constituency and I will not have a second home.
My expenses as a councillor:
My record shows that I have a clean record on expenses.
2001/2002 £9,271.42 (basic pay, plus extra for Executive responsibilities)
2002/2003 £6,437.41 (basic pay)
2003/2004 £5,187.12
2004/2005 £5,149.92
2005/2006 £6,212.52
2006/2007 £11,689.89 (basic pay, plus extra for group leader responsibilities starting in 2006/7)
2007/2008 £12,722.20
2008/2009 £12,750.00
2009/2010 £12,750.00 (I voted against a 9% increase in basic pay, or 25% increase in extra responsibilities pay, and so I did not take the additional amount)
Travel expenses are payable for all council and committee meetings, as well as external meetings - I have chosen not to claim them.
