New Year Message from Prue Bray

2009 was a very tough year for many people, not only locally in Wokingham, but around the world. And it came at the end of a tough decade. But as we move forward into 2010 we have the chance to make things better, not just for ourselves and our families and friends, but also for those we have never met.

I am a firm believer that individuals can make a difference - if only we act together. Each one of us only has to do a little bit, and together we can change the world.

I have seen with my own eyes over the last year how so many people in Wokingham Borough generously give their time and money to help others, and I feel confident that, with that community spirit, by working together we can make 2010 a good year for everyone.

I wish everyone a very happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year.
