Clive says

"At a time when the Tories were planning to give tax breaks to their rich friends, it was the Liberal Democrats in coalition who delivered tax cuts to millions of people.

"The Liberal Democrats raised the tax threshold from £6,500 to £10,000 (£10,500 next May!), so 25 million people pay about £800 LESS tax a year. Thousands of the lowest paid now pay no tax at all.

"The Liberal Democrats want a fairer society by taking even more people out of the tax system altogether."
