Richard Robinson selected as Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for East Hampshire

Richard Robinson has been selected by the members of East Hampshire Liberal Democrats as Prospective Parliamentary Candidate ("PPC") to contest East Hampshire Constituency at the General Election.


Richard Robinson said " I will be proud to campaign on our record in government and for our commitment to improve mental health services."

Richard grew up in Hampshire and has lived in the constituency for over 20 years, just outside Petersfield. He has been active in his local community of Buriton. He is chartered accountant with 25 years' experience working in the UK and overseas.

Richard said 'I am delighted to be representing the Liberal Democrats in the forthcoming General Election campaign'. 'We will be campaigning for a stronger economy, a fairer society with opportunities for all in East Hampshire to achieve their potential. For this to happen good health and education services are vital.
Locally, the Liberal Democrats will campaign to improve facilities for residents and protect our environment.
Bill Melly, Chairman of East Hampshire Liberal Democrats said "I'm delighted that Richard has been selected as our PPC. Living locally, already involved in the community and hard working - all necessary attributes for an MP"
