Clive Jones MP stood with local primary school student, Leo Sindhu, and the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Linsay Hoyle, in front of a decorated Christmas Tree. Leo Sindhu is holding his Christmas card design, which won the competition, and the Speaker is holding his large cat, named Attlee.

Clive Jones MP invited primary school aged children across Wokingham constituency to enter his Christmas card competition, with the winner having their design used for Clive’s Christmas card to residents across the constituency. Leo Sindhu, aged 8, submitted the winning design, and today met with the Speaker of the House of Commons to get one of his cards signed.

Clive Jones, the MP for Wokingham, said:
“Congratulations to Leo for winning the competition. His design was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for and he is a deserved winner.

“I’d like to thank everyone who submitted their design for the competition. I enjoyed looking through every one of them, and I hope that there will be even more next time.

“I’d also like to thank the Speaker, Rt Hon Lindsay Hoyle, for his time and signing a card for Leo.”
