I’ve had lots of questions about Wokingham Borough Council’s Finances and I would like to repeat a few of them here.
Funding for GP practices in the integrated care board area of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire which included Wokingham has been slashed by £20,394,409 in real terms since 2019

First the good news. Wokingham Borough Council will receive £0.67 million more from government towards supporting its revenue budget for 2024/5.

An Ecological Emergency has been declared by Wokingham Borough Council. As well as actions taken to address the climate emergency, the council will adopt policies to protect biodiversity and reduce the rate of species loss.
